Stefan Perez is a Coast Miwok, Latino writer/director based in Northern California. Stefan's work is driven by a deep interest in genre cinema, particularly horror and comedy, which he uses as a lens to explore contemporary themes and cultural curiosities.
His filmmaking focuses on Native American identity and social satire, blending entertainment with pointed commentary to challenge expectations and expand representation.
Stefan holds a Master’s Degree in Film Studies from Sonoma State University, and is currently teaching at College of Marin as a screenwriting instructor.
