Sierra DuCharme-Hansen is an LA-based comedy writer currently writing for the award-winning YouTube comedy show Good Mythical Morning, which has over 19 million subscribers. Her other writing credits span from true crime (I Met My Murderer Online) to digital (TXT Stories) to theatre (Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival & YouthPLAYS). She completed the UCLA Professional Program in Television Writing and was selected for the 2025 Shore Script TV Writer Mentorship Program. Sierra grew up splitting time between Utah and Wisconsin, gaining firsthand knowledge of Mormons and Cheeseheads. She also spent a decade working in people’s homes as a personal assistant, tutor and dog walker and claims she has “seen it all”. Expert in complicated family dynamics, mediocre juggler.
Sierra’s half-hour comedy THE BOOK OF BOURBON, about a young mormon woman who leaves the church and gets a job at a local dive bar, won the Shore Scripts TV Pilot Mentorship Program (2025), placed in the Top 100 Scripts of the Launch Pad Pilot Competition (2025), and was a quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition (2025).
