Shandton Williams II

Shandton Williams II is an LA-based screenwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Drawn to folklore and the supernatural, his work explores genre, inheritance, and the tensions between cultural and sexual identity. Most recently, he’s worked on AMC’s critically-acclaimed drama mystery series, Dark Winds, since season one as support staff before getting his first script on season four and staffing on the upcoming fifth season. He holds a screenwriting MFA from Florida State University and begand his career at management and production companies before transitioning into television. Outside of writing, Shandton spends his time working on studio art and photography while exploring the outdoors with his partner.
