Sebastian Ortiz Wilkins is a Mexican director and screenwriter from Guadalajara, Jalisco, now based between Mexico City and Guadalajara. After training at Vancouver Film School and graduating from BCIT, he built his career in Vancouver, working in film and television from 2018 to 2025.
His short film Blue for You was an Official Selection at SXSW 2026, marking a major milestone in his international trajectory. Sebastian has worked extensively as a Script Supervisor on numerous feature films while directing award winning shorts and developing narrative projects that explore cross cultural stories.
His work has screened internationally, and he is currently developing his debut feature film in collaboration with Moon7 and BAFTA winner Executive Producer Lesley Paterson (All Quiet on the Western Front). He is represented by STINK FILMS Mexico.
