Lucas De Souza Detoni

I am Lucas Detoni, a 41-year-old cisgender man and screenwriter based in Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil, and a member of ABRA (Brazilian Association of Audiovisual Screenwriters). I studied at EBAC (British School of Creative Arts), where I trained in creative writing, directing, and screenwriting. Since then, I have dedicated myself to writing scripts across various genres and formats—always aiming to tell compelling stories—and to directing my first short film, which is currently making the rounds at film festivals. My work has received recognition in screenwriting competitions (for the scripts Naique —a short film—and Hurricane Truck —a feature film). I have two projects approved under Brazilian cultural incentive laws that are currently in the fundraising stage, as well as two short film projects in pre-production.
