Linda Tancs is a storyteller with works encompassing screenwriting, playwriting, books and lyrics. She wrote her first screenplay in 2021, which entered the quarterfinals of a screenwriting competition in the animated short category. Since then, several of her shorts reached the finals for best short screenplay in festivals such as the Garden State Film Festival, the California International Children’s Film Festival and AFIN International Film Festival (Australia). In 2023 she advanced to the Second Round in the Austin Film Festival’s script writing competition for an adaptation of one of her one-act stage plays and won advancement to the Second Round in 2025 for her first feature screenplay. Linda graduated the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television and continues to develop both features and pilots.
