Brooklyn-born filmmaker and actor Kenneth Trujillo is the founder of Kojak Films, now based in Atlanta. His work leans into grounded performances, dark humor, and contained stories fueled by character and tension.
He created the anthology series Other Things, a stripped-down narrative project that has built momentum around his voice through performance-driven shorts made with minimal resources. The series reflects his approach: lean crews, strong actors, and storytelling that lives in the moment.
Trujillo recently directed the minimalist stage production Whale Song, collaborating with Ireland-based writer Conor Montague, expanding his work across international creative partnerships. His latest short film, The Marleys, is currently in post-production. Drawing from his experience as a performer, he continues developing character-driven films with growing anticipation around their release.
