Originally from Alaska, Jacky Watson is a queer Peruano writer based in LA. As Writer’s Assistant on "LEVERAGE: REDEMPTION", they wrote an episode with the show’s co-creator and produced it on location. Their pilot “RE-LIFE” featured on the 2024 Latine List and their feature “PERUANITOS” was selected for the 2025 Development Workshop run by Stowe Story Labs and Galway Film Fleadh. As a Writer Fellow for Film Independent’s Project Involve 2026, Jacky wrote an upcoming short film that is currently in post-production. A sci-fi/horror nerd with a character-centric writing style, Jacky loves writing about messy people trying to take care of equally messy people. Jacky’s greatest wish is to time-travel to the ‘90s and write for "X-FILES".
