I’m a writer and director based in Los Angeles, originally from North Carolina. I started in theater and acting and spent more than a decade as an activist and political organizer, experiences that shape the worlds and characters I create. I’ve developed projects with multiple production companies and am currently in financing on the horror feature STAY CALM, which will mark my feature directorial debut.
My current slate includes EL CUERPO, a near-future series about a revolutionary Utopia built inside the United States; ORWELL, the untold tragic life of the author of 1984; and MINE TO AVENGE, a medieval revenge story set against the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381. Meanwhile I also write lighter projects like GROW ON YOU, a chaotic rom-com about an emo drummer and an uptight law student who can’t stop fighting as they fall in love, SK8 OR DIE, a 90s skater horror film set in a haunted house, and the animated eco-fantasy VALA THE JAGUAR GUARDIAN in the Brazilian Amazon.
I studied film at the College of Santa Fe and UCLA and am managed at Achieve Entertainment.
