Alex Prince is a writer, filmmaker, and actor. Born in North Carolina and raised in the Chicago suburbs, he has outgrown his religious upbringing and embraced the unhinged, crafting absurd yet moving stories for both the stage and screen. His work often blends dark comedy, fantasy, and psychological horror elements while exploring isolated queer characters facing issues of identity, belonging, and desire. Prince is a Gotham EDU Fellow (‘25) and an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage at Northwestern University (‘27). He does not like long walks on the beach.
