Originally from New Zealand, Adele trained as a violinist and studied medieval musicology at the University of Michigan, before union organising work led her into public health and local government data analytics in the U.K.
She took up screenwriting after moving (again!) to Australia, focusing on thrillers, often with migration and borders in the mix - and characters with real dirt under their nails and secrets to keep. A Nicholl Finalist with NO GHOSTS TONIGHT, she has also won the Shore Script Feature Contest and the Golden Script Competition (Feature).
