- What is Scrybe and how will it help me as a writer?
- Scrybe is a submission platform built in collaboration with the industry's most respected screenwriting programs. We offer writers a clean, unified profile where they can track all their scripts, submissions, and placements across vetted partner programs.
- How do I create a writer profile?
- Simply click the Get Started for Free button to create your profile, upload your scripts, and submit to trusted programs in just a few clicks—every submission, status, and result will be automatically tracked for you.
- What is my writer profile used for?
- See your writer profile as your own personal webpage. It's a place where you can list your bio and accomplishments to share with the world. On the backend, you will be able to create and manage your projects.
- Do I need a writer profile in order to submit to contests?
- Yes. But it's free and can be created in under a minute!
- Can I store multiple projects under my writer profile?
- Absolutely. And you can update them with newer drafts as you go.
- Does it cost money to store my scripts or have a profile on Scrybe?
- Nope. It's 100% free!
- Do the writers have to pay a service/provider fee to Scrybe on top of their submission fee?
- Nope!
- Can I enter multiple contests during the same checkout window?
- Yes, you can. As many as you wish.
- Can I enter multiple projects into the same contest?
- Usually yes, but it's worth checking a particular contest's Rules to see what they do and don't accept.
- How will I be informed of the status of my submissions?
- Each contest you enter will notify you in a timely manner. That email will be sent through their partner dashboard, so it will be under the Scrybe name in your inbox.
- What do I do if it says my contest submission is 'incomplete'?
- Check your submission to see what information is missing. Rectifying that will lead to your submission changing to 'in consideration'. If unclear, please email the contest you entered.
- Can I resubmit a newer version of my script whilst a contest is still active?
- Usually yes, but each contest has their own set of rules so you will need to check those for the specific contest.
- Can I set up reminders so I don't forget to enter a contest before a deadline?
- Absolutely. Click on the bell symbol beside a particular contest to become subscribed to their submission updates.
- What do I do if I need a refund?
- Get in touch with the contest you entered regarding this and your reasoning. If it can't be resolved that way then do email us with all the information.

- You can apply by visiting our partner application page. We will get in touch with all the information.
- Do you only accept screenwriting contests as partners?
- No. We are open to festivals, grants, labs, and much more!
- How do I set up my partner profile?
- One of our team will walk you through all of this once you have been accepted as a new partner.
- Can different members of my team have access to the partner dashboard?
- Absolutely. You can set certain privileges of what they can and can't see.
